You figure the Moon is a rational orbital body, so appealing to its reason sounds like the way to go. You quickly learn, however, that the Moon is not having any of it. It's enjoying the heck out of this party and, turns out, going around the Earth every 27 or so days got old many millions of years ago. You're going to need to come up with more persuasive argument.
