Ok, you got this, you can explain to the Moon why it needs to go back into the sky. You point out that if every orbital body suddenly decided it can abandon its position and head out any which way it pleases, all orbital systems would tear themselves apart. And you do mean "all of them", from supergalaxies down to electrons in tiny orbits around atomic nuclei (lucky for you the Moon is not familiar with the cloud model of electron distribution). So to keep all matter as matter and not high velocity radiation, we all must do our part, and the Moon has a proven duty to stay in orbit. The Moon, try as it might, can't find a way to critique your reason here, and does return into our sky. Whew, quite a night. You never did find that show but you did prevent the complete disintegration of all objects across all scales, and that's always nice.
