Installing a clock seems easier than climbing a giant tower, so you decide to help with the clock bit. Turns out, there was a miscommunication during the design phase and they've ended up with too many possible clocks to put install in the tower. They've narrowed it down to two choices: a complex analog face made of giant gears all spinning at various speeds in many directions; or a digital face with a complex system of lights and lasers to create the illusion of numbers floating in the air.
