The real problem, you quickly realize, is they're not just literally frozen, they're also figuratively frozen, aka ‘isolated’ and ‘ice-olated’. So the point is you have to get to know them to make them feel less alone and more like a greater part of the human family. After all, Madonna once said, “We're all frozen when our hearts are not open,” or something like that; she made it fit in the syllable count.
