You go to the part of the party where your past selves are hanging out and jump into some conversations. You know how people at parties make little circles and you just kinda hover at the perimeter chiming in here and there? You're doing that. You ask a few questions (mostly of the "what on Earth was I thinking when..." and "oh hey, where did I leave this, I haven't found it in years" variety), but soon enough, you instead find yourself fielding questions from the past yous. Makes sense, to them you're a future you that can bring some sage advice. You tell your past selves, hey, maybe all you yous shouldn't be so hard on yourselves all the time, and maybe they yous are actually doing better than yous worry yous are. The grammar is a bit tongue twisty, but you think you get the message across to the yous. And maybe you can take some of your own advice here: yes you didn't find the show but you did have good conversations and a nice wine and pickled radish pairing, and that's a good enough evening that you and yous should feel good about.
