Why not just include in their body all the snow that exists as one great hive mind? Furthermore, why should they limit themselves to snow? Why not also become the consciousness of water vapor as well? The snowperson agrees fully, now that you've explained it, and soon you're speaking to a meta-entity that spans the entire planet, or at least the parts of the planet with humidity. This means they're also at that Red, Her Rings show you were going to, and while they can't get you there, they do a great job of describing it to you, and that's almost as good.
