Look, if you love something, set it free. Now, you don't technically love the demon, at least not on a personal level, but maybe you'd grow to love them? And in general, you're a loving person. Ok, here goes. You pop the attic door open. The demon thanks you, stretches its wings, asks if they could repay you, and agrees to help you find the tent. Turns out being carried by a giant flying hell creature is a good way to get about, and the demon soon locates your tent, then drops you off at your tent. Quite a night, but it all ended well and probably nothing to worry about re: giant demon flying off. All stuff to think about you get a good morning's sleep.
